Join HOC as we celebrate volunteerism, community engagement and civic activation in our city by getting our hands dirty and doing GOOD at Hands On Charlotte Day!
There is no better way to feel the impact of your effort than to volunteer right where needs are being served daily. Grab friends, family, and coworkers and lend a helping hand with diverse projects across the city – from sorting food at the Second Harvest Food Bank or assisting with educational programs at the Nature Museum to a family friendly project at East Mecklenburg High School.

This year, Hands On Charlotte Day marks the final day of a week-long celebration of volunteering in Charlotte called DO GOOD Week, a collaboration between HOC and SHARE Charlotte and powered by Duke Energy.  Intentionally timed to coincide with National Volunteer Week (April 23 - 29) DO GOOD Week will rally our community to come together to volunteer time and talent.
That same afternoon the community will be invited to come together for a fun event at NODA Brewing Company that celebrates the importance of volunteering and will close out a spectacular week of GOOD - more details to come!
