Paying Tribute through Service
Our nation’s extraordinary response to the Sept. 11 tragedy demonstrated that compassion for those in need is a powerful and unifying force.
For the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, Hands On Charlotte is proud to create opportunities for people in the Charlotte region to pay tribute through charitable service, and thereby to recreate the spirit of community and selflessness that strengthened our nation at a crucial time. HOC is part of a national effort in this initiative, and you can learn more about that by visiting www.911day.org.
HOC’s 9/11 Week of Service & Remembrance, presented by US Airways, offers dozens of volunteer projects from Tuesday, September 6 through Sunday, September 11. There are several ways that you can YOU can join the 9/11 Tribute Movement...
