Take Time Out is a dynamic community involvment program spearheaded by the Charlotte Bobcats and Wells Fargo, who are challenging everyone to commit some of their time to making the Charlotte region a great place to live work and play.  Hands On Charlotte is proud to be a community activation partner for Take Time Out, which has a goal of generating 25,000 hours of volunteer service from January 11 to April 24.

How You Can Get Involved

If you would like to Take Time Out and have your volunteer hours count toward the goal of 25,000 hours, here's what you need to do.

STEP 1: Register with Hands On Charlotte so that you can sign up to volunteer at the dozens of projects we organize every month.

IMPORTANT -- When completing the online registration page, make sure you answer the question "How did you hear about Hands On Charlotte?" by choosing "Charlotte Bobcats/Take Time Out". That's the only way we know that you wish to be a part of this program.

STEP 2: Once you've finished the Registration process, log in and choose a project to sign up for. CLICK HERE to see our project calendar. Please note that Full Access (FA) projects require that you also attend a New Volunteer Orientation and pay a one-time Engagement Fee before signing up. However, the orientation and the engagement fee are NOT NEEDED for Limited Access (LA) Projects, which are also part of Take Time Out.

STEP 3: Volunteer and have fun! We'll track your service hours, which you can look up on your personal account page.
