Study Buddies - West Blvd Library (14+)
Activities & Notes: Volunteers will pair up with students and help them with various homework assignments. These are very informal tutoring session. Students requesting help are in kindergarten through 8th grade.For some of the occasional older students work can be geometry, science worksheets, or book reports.
Update: for the last 4 weeks of this 2016-17 school year we have split this project into 2 shifts. Bethlehem Center brings 8 to 12 students at 5 pm. They leave by 6:15 pm. Tutoring is open to other students from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. You can sign up for either of both shifts.

About the Organization: this is a youth mentoring program. Its mission is to provide tutoring, learning support and homework assistance, to the youth of Charlotte, in order to increase academic success.
