Home Fire Preparedness Campaign (14+)
Join the Red Cross initiative to install lifesaving smoke alarms in local neighborhoods! Activities & Notes: The American Red Cross Home Fire Preparedness Campaign aims to reduce the number of home-fire deaths and injuries by 25 percent over the next five years, working with community partners and stakeholders to install smoke alarms and provide fire- and disaster-safety education in communities at risk for home fires. We will either be (1) canvassing pre-determinded neighborhoods to offer smoke alarm installation appointments as well as other fire safety information or (2) installing smoke alarms for clients who have already confirmed an appointment.
