Getting Started with Family Volunteering
Step 1: Register
To sign up for projects or express interest to get contact information on opportunities, you must first be registered on this site.
Step 2: Attend an Orientation
You will need to attend an orientation prior to volunteering at our family friendly projects. Click here to find and sign-up for our upcoming Orientations. These sessions are only for adults and not recommended for children.
At the orientation you will fill out a Youth Waiver so we can create your family team. Please do not try to create your own team.
Step 3: Sign Up
Look for family friendly volunteer opportunities using our Volunteer Opportunity Calendar. Once you have found something that you wish to attend, choose "Or Sign Up With A Team" to the right of the Sign Up button at the bottom of the opportunity description page. On the next page you will choose which team you want to sign up. You will be automatically signed up for that project and will receive a confirmation e-mail containing all of the information you will need. Be sure to only sign up those individuals who will be in attendance for the project.
