Without leaders, Hands On Charlotte would not be able to create and implement our programs. With your help, we are able to make a real difference in Charlotte. If you are an active HOC volunteer and would like to become a volunteer leader or learn more, please contatct Doug Macomb or sign up for the next Volunteer Leader Training. We are also interested in creating new projects and love to hear your ideas! Here is a list of Volunteer Leader Responsibilities.

Volunteer Leader Openings

*HomeWork Hounds at Hickory Grove Library - Mon or Wed evenings

*Basic Literacy & Math for Adults - Wed or Thurs evenings

*HomeWork Hounds at Sugar Creek Library - Tues. evenings

*HomeWork Hounds at Scaleybark Library - Mon. evenings

*Pet Visits at Weddington Park - Weeknight or weekends

*Game Night or Pet Visits at Willow Ridge - Assisted Living facility in NE Charlotte

*Gathering in the Garden - Thursdays 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

*Urban Farming at Garinger - Saturdays 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

*Animal Care & Control Project- one Saturday a month 9:00 AM - noon

* Your Project Idea! - time, location, frequency - to be determined
